In Noida, there’s a gang of unpredictable thieves who have caused quite a stir. Mind you, these are not your usual run-of-the-mill chors. In fact, they have a unique style that has left residents both worried and amused. In 24 hours, the thieves targeted more than half a dozen houses.
This sneaky group of thieves not only stole valuables worth lakhs from the homes that they targeted, but they made themselves right at home. For example, Shriram Tripathi of Sector 82 returned from a trip to Madhya Pradesh to find his home turned upside down. The thieves had taken cash, jewellery, and valuables worth at least Rs 40 lakh, reported India Today.
But what’s hilarious is that they also fried pakodas in his kitchen, leaving behind nothing but used tissue papers and the aroma of their impromptu feast.
Similarly, Richa Bajpai from Sector 25 found her jewellery worth around Rs 3 lakh missing. But that wasn’t all. The thieves had emptied water bottles from her fridge, smoked bidi, ate paan, and spat in her bathroom.
The Noida Police are on high alert, ramping up their search efforts to nab this gang. Meanwhile, residents are shocked by the sheer audacity of these thieves.
