Noida Cops Raise ₹3,880 To Buy Meds For A Paralysed Man Who Forgot His Bag On Bus!

In a world full of sin and crime, random acts of kindness and generosity are seldom seen. But our police and military forces have many a time gone out of their way to help those in need. Whether it is feeding a disabled child with their own hands or aiding a pregnant woman to deliver a baby on the railway station, the tales of armed forces and their heroic acts are plenty.

One such incident that will raise your respect for the police department has recently come to light in Greater Noida. An elderly man suffering from paralysis was traveling to Delhi from Farukkhabad. He was on his way to visit a doctor in Dadri. He deboarded the bus at 9 in the morning at Pari Chowk, Greater Noida but soon he realized that he had forgotten his bag containing cash and some clothes on the bus.

The senior citizen was spotted by a police team from Knowledge Park Police Station, an officer told NDTV.

“Realising that he had missed his bag which contained money and clothes among some other essentials, he panicked. A police team brought him to the police station around 9 am,” SHO, Knowledge Park, Arvind Pathak said.

“The man was worried and unable to recall the details. He told us that he is from Farrukhabad and that he has lost his bag in the bus,” he added.

The cops were moved to see the plight of the elderly man so they decided to do their bit to help him. Accordingly, 50 on-duty personals joined hands to raise funds for the man’s treatment. The officers voluntarily raised Rs. 3,880 and handed over it to him.

“We tried to calm him down at the police station and offered him breakfast. He left for Dadri after around an hour,” the SHO said.

Such acts of compassion surely restore our faith in humanity! And a hearty thanks to Noida police for their efforts and kindness!
