In movies like Singham and Simmba, when Bollywood celebrities donned the khaki uniform of a police officer, they also put their lives at risk and courageously defended the people. But if you thought that their bravery and vigour was just fiction, then you couldn’t be more wrong. Because art imitates life and in this case too, there are plenty of real-life cops who display tremendous strength in the face of danger and go above and beyond their call of duty to help anyone in need.
Take, for instance, Sub Inspector Akhilesh Kumar Dixit from Bilaspur police station, Uttar Pradesh.
Real Hero: Bilaspur Chowki incharge Akhilesh Dixit demonstrated extreme valour and safely fished out two LPG cylinders from a house where a fire broke out in Greater Noida. Averted a tragedy. See tears of joy on houseowner's face. This cop should be honoured. pic.twitter.com/rWVpZ4A0QO

On 3 May, the station received a distress call informing them of a house fire in Greater Noida. When Mr.Dixit arrived at the scene, he came to know that there were two highly flammable LPG gas cylinders within the burning home that could potentially worsen the situation. He quickly obtained a blanket from a neighbour, covered himself and went in to retrieve them.
The house owners as well as the internet can’t thank him enough for his keen presence of mind and his bravery.
Some superheroes don't wear capes they wear uniform.
