“I Am Nisha Jindal,” Raipur Cops Make 31-YO Man Reveal His Fake Identity On Facebook

Let’s accept this, at least once in our life we’ve all made a fake social media account. Whether it is to stalk an ex-lover or just for some anonymous fun, so one would presume that making a fake social media account is not a big deal. But that is not the case, for our seemingly ‘anonymous’ actions online have very real consequences.

A Facebook profile that goes by name ‘Nisha Jindal’ has created quite a buzz on Facebook. With 10k followers, the profile was apparently popular for making leud remarks on social media posts, reports NDTV.

So the police decided to arrest ‘Nisha’ for making ‘inflammatory comments’ on Facebook and promoting social enmity, reports TOI. Tracing her through the IP address, the police arrived at Nisha’s residence in search of her. But a 31-year-old man came forward and said, “I’m Nisha”.

The Raipur resident, Ravi Pujar has been failing his engineering exams for the past 11 years, reports TOI. On further investigation, the cops discovered that he runs two fake Facebook profiles one that of ‘Nisha Jindal’ and the other one of a Pakistani actress Miraha Pasha.

He had used pictures of certain girls in his Facebook profile. So, cops took a picture of him in custody posted it on Nisha Jindal’s account with a caption, “Main police custody me hu. Main hi hu Nisha Jindal.” (I’m in police custody, I’m Nisha Jindal)

Be super careful the next time you receive ‘I love you, will you marry me?’ and ‘mera recharge kara do na’ type of messages from a woman’s account on Facebook. You never know parde ke piche kya hai!
