It’s really sad to sometimes witness separations and divorces of celebrity couples. With frequent news of popular couples untying the knot, it’s sometimes unbelievable how people separate ways after years of marriage.
But, it’s hilarious when couples split ways just after a short amount of time. And by ‘short’, I mean 4 days.
Actor Nicolas Cage has been known to have a few divorces under his sleeve, having been married to Alice Kim, Lisa Marie Presley, and Patricia Arquette previously.
His marriage with Lisa was particularly interesting because of the number of days it lasted – 108.
However, his recent marriage tops that and what it seems all other hilariously failed marriages, lasting only 4 days!
That’s right. Nicolas Cage has officially filed an annulment from his wife of four days, Erika Koike, whom he married in Las Vegas.
The two had started dating in April 2018.
According to sources, Nic and Erika, who is a makeup artist, were completely “wasted” when they decided to get hitched, totally reminding me of Ross and Rachel in Vegas!
The actor added that the marriage is a “fraud” because Erika hadn’t disclosed “the full nature and extent of her relationship with another person” and also her criminal history.
According to TMZ, the two were caught up in an intense fight a few hours after they just got married.
In fact, eye-witnesses revealed that they even got into a fight right before they got married!
I’m no expert but usually, when people have a huge fight they tend to stop talking to each other. And these two tied the knot…
