Andhra Village Boys Recreate Action Scenes From Telugu Films, Millions Watch Their Videos

What were you doing when you were a teenager? All I remember doing was trying to not fail in math, making unsuccessful attempts at bunking tuition classes, and dancing to Taylor Swift to lift my mood. However, a group of teenagers from a village in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, decided to become internet sensations!

These teens run a channel on YouTube named ‘Nellor Kurrallu Entertainment’. Their first video was uploaded 11 months ago and today, they have 6.6 lakh subscribers. What do they do? They recreate action scenes from popular Telugu films!

The main guy behind the videos is Meenamgari Kiran, a school dropout. According to TNIE, Kiran loves filmmaking and has done a few short films too. He shoots the videos not with the help of high-resolution cameras, but with a smartphone.

Another guy named Shaikh uses Kinemaster to edit the videos, reveals sources. It took him 3 hours to edit the video in which they recreated an action scene from the film ‘Sarileru Neekevaru’ as a tribute to actor Mahesh Babu.

Kiran revealed that he plans the fight sequences while sitting on his terrace.

He said, “I have many stories in my mind and want to work on them once I get a chance in the film industry.”

Other guys who feature in the videos are Fareed, Shareef, Shajid, Arif, Jalee, Tofiq, Umar, Ashok, Srinivasulu, Pavan, Rabbani and Ayukbasha. Their most-watched video has over 8 million views! Watch some of their videos here:
