Thanks to healthcare workers globally, people like us are at home safely. And, while we might think it’s not an easy task to stay indoors, think about all the hardships doctors and nurses face daily. From not being to hold their toddlers to living in their car, this is a difficult time for essential workers.
Recently, a doctor returned home after 20 days of continuous service amid the pandemic. The lady doctor was working in the ICU department of a hospital treating coronavirus patients, reports News18. As she returned home after 20 days, her family members and neighbours gathered at the entrance of her building to welcome her.

The woman was moved to tears as society members stepped forward to applaud her and shower her with petals, reports NDTV. Some residents even held placards to thank her for her service. And others banged utensils as a sign of gratitude. The doctor’s special welcome touched many hearts.
