Neha Kakkar, the queen of remakes as she’s rightly called, has cemented her place in the music industry as a versatile singer. From being the first choice of music directors to having her songs hitting the ‘Billboard’, Neha has proved her mettle in the industry like a boss.
However, the journey from rags to riches hasn’t been a cakewalk for the singer. She began her career by participating in the singing reality show Indian Idol. Though she did not win the show, she bagged opportunities to sing for leading Bollywood stars one after the other. Result?
After years of hard work, she eventually became a judge on the same reality show that she could not win. Apart from achieving this milestone, Neha has inspired many youngsters to dream big with her story of success.
The singer, who used to sing at jagratas with her parents and siblings during childhood and sell samosas to earn a living, lived in a rented room in Rishikesh. Years later, Neha got a new lavish bungalow built for her family in the same city.
Sharing her inspiring journey from a one-room home to a bungalow, Neha wrote, “We Kakkar’s used to stay in a 1 Room inside which my Mother had put a table which was our kitchen in that small room. And that Room also was not our own, we were paying rent.”
Posing alongside her bungalow, and her old rented room, Neha said that she feels emotional every time she visits her home town.
Her post made everyone emotional on social media. Fans and friends shared their best wishes for Neha congratulating her on her success.
