B-town celebs have progressively been open about deep spells of depression in the past year. It was Deepika Padukone who set the ball rolling by opening a dialogue about mental wellness. It is now singer Neha Kakkar who took to Instagram to speak of the issue. The Aankh Marey hitmaker recently confessed to being depressed with extensive posts in her Instagram stories.
It all began with rumors of her break up with actor Himansh Kolhi. Following the duo’s music video O Humsafar, Himansh had been vocal about the relationship on the Indian Idol stage sharing that Neha was more than just a friend to him.
What ensued was scores of photos that spelled out couple-goals on Instagram posted from Neha’s account which led to fans endearingly dubbing them ‘Nehansh’. However, Neha deleted a large number of their couple photos after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram marking their breakup ‘Insta-official’.
Kakkar took to her Instagram stories yesterday to share her feelings. Here’s what she had to say-
However, she soon shared another post to clear the air, revealing that the story wasn’t targeted at any particular individual. It was in fact meant to all the negative people.
“Let me make it clear, it’s not because of one person or two, it’s because of the world that is not letting me live my personal life.”
