Nawazuddin Siddiqui Shares Important Lessons On Money & Unity That Pandemic Taught Him

There is doubt that the pandemic has reshaped our lives in various different ways. It has rearranged our priorities and has shown us what is truly important and what is not. And actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui agrees.

Speaking to Times Of India, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that the pandemic has made him realise how we have been running after “unnecessary things” and how money doesn’t always guarantee happiness.

Pandemic made us realise that we have been running behind unnecessary things. This phase made us realise that there is no need to run behind work. Sab sochte the ki paisa milne se life achchi ho jaati hai, but the pandemic showed all of us the true picture,” he said.

Sharing one of the many lessons he learnt, Nawaz says that he now understands the true power of unity.

“These times showed us the true power of unity. Look how people are standing together to help each other. This proves that jitna hum milke kaam karenge, ek dusre ko help karenge, we will sail through this,” he said.

The past year has indeed shown us how humanity and kindness can help us get through tough times. Don’t you agree?
