Nawazuddin Siddiqui Thinks Pakistani Artists Should Leave India In These Times Of Tension

Bollywood is divided on what it feels about Pakistani artists being banned from working or living in India. Everybody has their own opinion about it, from Salman Khan supporting them on the grounds that they’re not terrorists and Nana Patekar stating that there is nothing bigger than country, definitely not art. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked if he’d be a bridge between these two opinions and this is what he said.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, at a press meet in Meerut, was asked what he thinks about Pakistani artists being asked to leave India and the talented actor said what he thinks is the most logical step.

“Right now, the situation between India and Pakistan is very sensitive and they (Pakistani actors) should leave India.”

When The ‘Manjhi’ actor was asked if his statement means he doesn’t belong to the group of actors who favour Salman Khan and his views, his response was different from what one would expect.
