Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs. Funnybones is not one to mince words. Her columns, as well as her tweets, are peppered with sarcasm, wit and humour. Even on her 18th wedding anniversary, she hilariously complained about husband Akshay Kumar! Since most of her work relates to things around her and what is happening in the country, she also mentions PM Narendra Modi in her tweets on occasion.
Recently, in a non-political conversation with the Prime Minister, Akshay Kumar asked him about his social media presence and if he reads tweets and memes targeted at him. To which his response was this.

“I follow you (Akshay Kumar) and Twinkle Khanna Ji on Twitter. From the way she targets me, I understand there must be peace in your family life. All her anger must have been spent on me, and so you must be feeling at peace.”
The writer took this in her stride and expressed joy at her work being read by the PM.
I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work 🙂 🙏 https://t.co/Pkk4tKEVHm

Her readers too were impressed the rib-tickling manner in which he replied to the question. Here is what they had to say.
And his way of balancing out your peace with the man of the house- nailed it in simply @mrsfunnybones way! Blimey!

It also means that constructive criticism is taken in good spirit. And it's healthy.

But you need to clarify whether he was right in his assumption. 😁

We hope that she continues to talk about good things, bad things and uncomfortable things in her trademark ‘funnybones’ manner even in the future.
