Indian television serials have surprised us not once, not twice but multiple times with their hilarious storylines, unrealistic action, and dramatic plots.
And just when we thought writers would start adding sense to the shows, the trailer of the new season of an already popular show ‘Naagin’ has got people facepalming.
Moving over a man breaking ‘chand ka tukda’ for his lady love, a shape-shifting snake will now be seen saving the world from a deadly covid-like virus.
Claiming ‘zeher he zeher ko kaat sakta hai’, the short trailer opens with a man in one of the neighboring countries pouring a deadly liquid into a waterbody that contaminated the whole of India.
Then enters a man who clarifies, “Padosi desh ek virus ko hathiyar bana kar har taraf mahamari phaila dega.” The virus you know which, the padosi desh you know who!
Then comes the lead of the serial, the snake, to answer everyone’s question, ‘kon karega issey humari raksha?’ And this time, the Naagin is born to protect the country.
