Indians across the world were heartbroken after the Indian cricket team’s defeat against England in the T20 World Cup semi-finals that took place yesterday. KL Rahul managed to draw a lot of attention to himself after Chris Woakes dismissed him only after scoring 5 runs.

As KL Rahul exited the field, several people took to social media to share their disappointment at his performance. There were also certain accounts that trolled him incessantly, just like it happens to all sportspersons after they experience defeat.

However, what was unexpected was Myntra trolling him. Myntra’s official Twitter account shared a picture of a black t-shirt that read ‘Out’ and they captioned it, “KL Rahul’s favourite t-shirt.”

Several people online slammed Myntra as it is disgraceful for a reputed company to troll a cricketer who is representing the country on a national platform. In sports, you are bound to win and lose, but you must chin up and move ahead. If we don’t support our sportspersons, who will?

The anger is understandable towards KL Rahul but this is a new level low for a BRAND because:
a) This is TOO personal and sets a bad precedence. He represents your country let alone is the VC.
b) The TEAM lost. And not JUST because of him. There were other factors too.

Yes he has been poor and deserves the sack from the team but the team did not lose just becoz of him. There were 10 other players who didn’t do their job.
