Several people have been dying to go for a holiday after spending months locked inside their homes due to the pandemic. Viral pictures of celebrities flying to the Maldives for a vacation isn’t helping either! While many would say that holiday-ing right now is irresponsible, what if it was the responsible thing to do? Confused?
Well, a Mumbai-based travel company seems to have started “vaccine tourism”. They are planning to fly people to the United States and get them shot with the Covid-19 vaccine, reports Times Of India. The company allegedly sent WhatsApp messages to people letting them know of the offer.
“As soon as the Pfizer vaccine is officially published to sell in America (tentative date December 11), we are ready to get done for a select few VVIP clients.
The package includes to-and-fro flight expenses from Mumbai to New York, a 3-nights 4-days stay inclusive of breakfast and a vaccine shot. The cost of the entire package is Rs 1.75 lakhs.
“We are developing vaccine tourism…We are not holding or procuring any vaccine. Everything we will arrange will be within the laws of the U.S.” read the message.
The company said they weren’t accepting any payments now. They only needed people to register with a few personal details.
