Recently, Mumbai witnessed the heaviest rainfall in 46 years which has left the entire city ravaged. People online took to social media to share concerning visuals of flooded streets, waterlogged houses, and rescue missions.
However, some videos on social media show rainwater water gushing through windows into houses, flooding the rooms, making it looks like a scene straight out of the Oscar-winning movie ‘Parasite’.
Have a look at the videos here:

People on the internet were upset to see a depressing scene from a movie become a reality for people in Mumbai. They wished for everyone’s safety and wondered about the “inequality” that plagues many.
We wish for the safety of the people of Mumbai in such a critical time. Stay strong!
