Mumbai Doc Dances To ‘Garmi’ In PPE Kit, Says ‘Won’t Let Negativity Get To Us’

The past few months have been trying and tiring for medical professionals. Imagine having to work round the clock in protective gear while continuously sweating underneath, which most times get suffocating. Yesterday, on Doctors’ Day, several people thanked those who are working on the frontlines for their service.

To spread cheer amidst uncertain times, especially after Maharashtra extended the lockdown, a doctor in Mumbai posted a video online where she danced to ‘Garmi’ while wearing a PPE kit, reports The Indian Express.

“We won’t let the negativity of the situation get to us even while serving the patients in this GARMI-ful but oh so graceful outfit,” she wrote.

She lauded frontline workers for putting up a brave smile while risking their own lives for others and doing their best to help the nation.

“If we can stay positive while risking our lives, y’all can be a little positive too about this extended lockdown,” she added.
