Popular Mumbai Influencer Tragically Dies After Falling Into Gorge While Filming Content

Content creators often go to great lengths to capture the perfect shot, sometimes putting themselves in dangerous situations. This pursuit of unique content has led to numerous accidents. For example, several influencers have suffered serious injuries or even death while attempting risky stunts or exploring hazardous locations.

Aanvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old content creator from Mumbai, tragically lost her life in such an incident. Known on Instagram as @theglocaljournal, Aanvi had a following of 257K and shared her experiences in travel, luxury, cafés, and more. She was also a chartered accountant who previously worked at Deloitte.

On July 16, Aanvi went on a monsoon trip to Kumbhe waterfall in Maharashtra’s Raigad district with seven friends. Around 10.30 AM, while recording a video of the picturesque scenery, she slipped and fell into a 300-foot deep gorge, reported Indian Express. Her friends immediately called for help, and local rescuers, along with police from the Mangaon station, arrived at the scene. Aanvi was taken to Mangaon Taluka Government Hospital, where she unfortunately died during treatment.

This incident highlights the risks content creators often take. While capturing engaging content is important, safety should always come first. Influencers and content creators must prioritize their well-being and avoid putting themselves in dangerous situations for the sake of a video or photo. Don’t you agree?
