Monkey Steals Man’s Phone, Takes Cute Selfies & Pics Of The Jungle

On a scale of 1 to 10, how scary is losing your smartphone with all your contacts, pictures and data? The stuff of nightmares, right? But what if you find it a day later with the gallery full of photos of the thief? Yes, this happened to 20-year-old Zackrydz Rodzi from Malaysia.

According to BBC, he woke up on Saturday and was unable to locate his phone. He said, “There was no sign of robbery. The only thing on my mind was is it some kind of sorcery.” The next day, his father noticed a monkey, so they decided to call up the number and follow the ringtone. They found the phone in the jungle behind their backyard with monkey selfies and some pretty decent nature photography.

Standard UK quoted him adding, “But later when I opened the gallery I ran out of words. [I have] no idea how to describe it because one of the impossible things just happened. I shook and laughed so hard and quickly ran towards my parents to tell them. There is no way that it’s a prank cause there’s no one else in the house except me and my parents. Plus the evidence of the monkey selfies is too strong.”

People called the monkey the “cutest thief ever” and lauded his intelligence on operating a smartphone.

Animals really are smart and wise, aren’t they?
