For kids, having a cycle of their own is like constantly winning the jackpot every week. I remember how I was gifted a cycle by my grandparents at the age of 7 and it opened a whole new world for me. I could ride it wherever I wanted and the kind of freedom I experienced from exploring my neighbourhood was unparalleled.
This little guy’s dream was to have a cycle of his own and he would keep asking his friends if he could borrow their cycle and give it a ride. It was heartbreaking for his mother to watch her son do so. Hence, she finally decided to gift him a cycle!
A video of her surprising her son with the cycle has gone viral on social media. The little boy can be seen entering a room and inside it was kept his new ride. He was shocked, surprised and instantly broke into happy tears! He hugged his mother, went inside the room, and switched on the light to see his new ride. He was overwhelmed the entire time.
“My son’s biggest dream has been to have a bicycle of his own. And for me, as a mom, my heart hurt so much to see my son constantly asking his friends to borrow a bicycle,” the caption on top of the video read.
