The nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak is certainly very necessary to contain the spread of the virus. But the fact that it is causing inconvenience to people who are in a state of emergency around the country also can’t be denied. The police department is, however, trying to maintain the smooth running of things by going far and beyond.
From distributing food to the people stranded away from their homes to helping the migrant workers, cops have turned out to be the real heroes during these testing times.
Recently, a Delhi Police constable went beyond his call of duty and helped a pregnant woman reach hospital in time for her delivery amid lockdown. As a token of gratitude and respect, the mother has named her newborn baby ‘Dayavir’ after him, reports News18.
