PM Modi To Feature on ‘Man vs Wild’ With Bear Grylls & Twitter Can’t Keep Calm!

“Man vs. Wild” on Discovery is a survival show famous for its host Bear Grylls. In the beloved show, Bear Grylls is dropped into strange wilderness far from civilization, and attempts to survive the nature, giving the name Man vs. Wild. And now, the famous survival expert, Bear Grylls will go on a jungle safari survival with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Today, on 29th July 219, Bear Grylls made an announcement on Twitter regarding an upcoming episode of Man vs. Wild featuring PM Modi. He wrote in the post – “People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM Narendra Modi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change.” along with the hashtag #PMModionDiscovery.

With the news in the air, Twitterati were divided in their opinions on the matter. The trailer of the episode itself mixed with their creativity, some users posted harmless jokes on the platform. At the same time, there were a some tweets that felt otherwise.

A lot of users were also perplexed with Discovery’s choice being Narendra Modi for the radical show.

But this isn’t to say that the Indian population is any less excited for the show.

Bear Grylls’ survival techniques for extreme situations and his love for an adventure in the wilderness is infectious. In the 45-second teaser, a voice-over introduces Modi as the head of the largest democracy in the world. Reportedly, the makers of the show revealed something that Modi had said –

“For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focussing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it.”

What we can say is, this could be the most watched episode of the show. It will be aired at 9PM on 12th August, 2019 on Discovery Channel.
