“Life is a continuous learning process.” And, while our own experiences teach us valuable life lessons, it’s always helpful to get friendly advice from elders. For instance, I am so grateful that my father taught me the importance of saving early on in life.
Speaking of which, a person took to Reddit and asked people what’s the most common mistake made by young adults. Many individuals not only pointed out the mistakes but also shared some valuable advice they had learned over the years.
From advising kids to live life to the fullest to teaching them about savings, have a look at these helpful pieces of advice:
1. Feeling that they are alone
2. Not enjoying life to the fullest
3. Assuming they are invulnerable
4. Blindly conforming to other people’s expectation
5. Overthinking about things
6. Not taking good care of teeth
7. Being unreasonably strict over everything
8. Not taking enough risks
9. Trying too hard to be cool
10. Not saving money
11. Refusing to take advice from experienced people
12. Being in toxic relations
13. Blindly believing everything they are told
14. Unrealistic lifestyle
