You know what was more special than shoshti for me … Seeing my brother after two weeks of him leaving home for uni. Those of you that know me , you know how small my family is and how my world revolves around my family and It was as if I was preparing more for what all food to send him off with on the way back from this event than the event itself prior to this day. Women are blessed with maternal instincts and I am even more blessed to have a minion like @aryavisuals who took a fair few of these shots … Some others are by @ideal_imaging_photography @missenglandnews @missworld Mua : @glamdeva @sandiebasra Hair : @jo_blend @blendsalon @bhavna Styled and dressed by @riakashyapofficial Thank you @the_hope_foundation for allowing me the opportunity to show solidarity for this beautiful cause. This news has made international media and although I am humbled by the acknowledgement of my involvement in this , you guys are the true heroes and may there be many more lives you touch along the way

However, as the coronavirus crisis worsened, she felt the need to get back to work as a doctor and help her former colleagues manage the situation.

People quoted her saying:

“When you are doing all this humanitarian work abroad, you’re still expected to put the crown on, get ready…look pretty. I wanted to come back home. I wanted to come and go straight to work.”

“I felt a sense of this is what I’d got this degree for and what better time to be part of this particular sector than now. There’s no better time for me to be Miss England and helping England at a time of need,” she added.

Bhasha Mukherjee had left Kolkata at the age of 9 and her family has been settled in England ever since.

You ever felt the effect of DIVINE INTERVENTION? Like someone up there is protecting you and magically makes everything come together in the end after numerous hurdles. That's how today felt. This photo has been captured on a phone by the talented @soulful_s , a true singh, who drove 4 hours each way to my hospital, and captured everything within 1 hour.
