Mira Rajput’s Batchmate Slams Her In An Open Letter For The Infamous Puppy Analogy

The International Women’s Day that went by proved a tad bit controversial for Shahid Kapoor’s wifey Mira Rajput. Ok! Not a tad bit, but more than that. Much so, that Mrs Kapoor has found herself stranded on the controversial land.

22-year-old Mira’s statements around motherhood and “destructive feminism” (in her words), has attracted social media lashing, open letters directed her way and in general a lot of backlash from the working mothers and feminists.

 

Coming forward, Mira’s classmate in her Facebook post wrote a short-crisp-but-still-lambasting note to her.

 

Her name has not been divulged but if we are to believe what she’s written is right, then we don’t know how to react.

Those who are still confused as to what happened, here’s a quick lowdown on the whole matter.

– Mira on Women’s Day, bared it all while saying how she had a tough pregnancy and was body shamed. She further said how she wears her homemaker label with pride.

 

– But what sounded controversial was when she said she gave birth to Misha and wouldn’t want to be that parent who spends an hour with her daughter and runs off to work. And, said ‘Misha isn’t a puppy’.

She also slammed the term ‘feminazi’ calling it the female equivalent of a chauvinist. She called the wave feminism these days very misguided.

– Shahid came to wifey’s defense and said that Mira’s comments were not directed at anyone in particular.

– Her statements went viral for all the wrong reasons and she faced some severe backlash on social media. There were several open letters written to Mira circling on the inter-web, calling her idea of feminism misguided and how children of working women are not puppies.

And, now her classmate’s open letter that shows a Regina George-ish mean-streak Mira had, during her college days.

Looks like, Mrs Kapoor has become the new controversy magnet of tinselville.
