As per a report in HT, Milind Soman picked up garbage on his way to Shiva temple atop a hill, doing his bit for the environment. He was accompanied by mother Usha Soman and wife Ankita Konwar. He took to Instagram to share his ‘plogging’ experience. Check it out:

He shared pictures of himself holding up bags of garbage, the temple, and his family in the Instagram post. He also revealed in the caption that upon reaching the temple, he was told that there were no dustbins around.
He wanted to make 2 points through his post. First, he hopes for people to be smarter than monkeys, and second, he urged food companies to start using biodegradable packaging.
