After India Won The 2nd Test, Michael Vaughan Gets ‘Hammered’ For Predicting 4-0 Test Loss For India

After losing face with their 8-wicket defeat in Adelaide, everyone expected that the series between India and Australia would go one-sided, the absence of the star players of the team like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma added to everyone’s speculations.

Looking at the situation back then, former English captain Michael Vaughan predicted that India would be hammered with 4-0 in the test series.

However, the Indian cricket team, lead by Ajinkya Rahane, batted their way to victory to level the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at 1-1 with their 8-wicket victory at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Tuesday.

Vaughan’s tweet had already offended Indian fans. Therefore, when India did a magical comeback, everyone revisited Vaughan’s profile to give him the taste of his own medicine.

He was brutally ‘hammered’ online after his prediction went South. Take a look:

But being a gentleman, Vaughan served a ‘humble pie’ for breakfast and said that he was happy to see the ‘underdog’ proving people wrong.

The Indian team stole the show and how! Well, there’s a reason why people say, don’t talk too much or too soon, haina Vaughan?
