Gym Trainer Challenges Cop To A 50 Push-ups Battle During Protest, Watch Video

A while back, people in Florida came onto the streets protesting that gyms be reopened for fitness enthusiasts. According to Mexico News Daily, a similar demonstration took place in Mexico in front of the National Palace on Friday.

News18 reports that one protestor who is also a gym worker issued a challenge saying, “I want to see obese and inactive police officers doing these exercises. I want to see who is in charge of security and whether they are physically prepared!”

A traffic cop named Pablo Ramírez Lemus who wears a prosthetic leg accepted his challenge of doing 50 pushups and won! Take a look.

The police officer is the fitness coach for his squad and is also training for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2021. He lost his leg in a motorcycle accident a couple of years ago.

People lauded the cop for displaying that one could exercise at home and that it was still unsafe to reopen gyms. They also named him ‘supercop’.

Kudos, to the sportsman spirit of both the participants!
