Alia Bhatt To Pregnant Rihanna, Celebs Rocked Met Gala 2023

It was Met Monday yesterday. Several well-known personalities from across the globe walked the coveted red carpet to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. The theme of Met Gala 2023 was dedicated to the late designer of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld (Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty).

From Priyanka Chopra to Alia Bhatt, Cardi B to Rihanna, the event was studded with famous stars who had their fashion game on point.

1. As speculated, Alia Bhatt made her debut at the gala.

She wore an ivory silk tulle and satin face organza exaggerated basque waist ball gown embellished with 100,000 hand-beaded pearls by Prabal Gurung. She choose the colour to pay her tribute to Karl’s cat Choupette.

2. After being there multiple times, Priyanka Chopra continues to make heads turn at the Met Gala 2023.

She colour coordinated with her husband Nick Jonas in a black and white gown with a thigh-high slit by designer Valentino.

What got Twitter buzzing was the rumour that her sparkling 11.6-carat diamond necklace is reportedly by Bulgari and costs USD 25 million (Rs 204 crores). Apparently, the necklace was auctioned after the Met Gala event.

3. Indian businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla also walked the carpet at the event.

For this year’s look, she opted for a silver metallic gown and paid homage to Karl’s beloved and iconic pet cat Choupette.

4. Isha Ambani also graced the world’s biggest red-carpet event.

She wore a black satin saree gown that was hand-embellished with thousands of crystals and pearls and had a silk chiffon train. The iconic look was exclusively created by Nepalese-American designer Prabal Gurung.

5. This time, American socialite and businesswoman Kim Kardashian choose a classic outfit in honour of the late legendary fashion designer.

She came to the event in a Schiaparelli dress that is “dripping in pearls.”

6. American actor and musician Jared Leto gave us one of the most stunning and cutest outfit change of the event. He legit wore a catsuit with a mask and looked like a real-life Choupette.

Underneath the furry suit, he wore a pleated skirt and matching trousers with a dramatic bedazzled cape.

7. Another person who came dressed up as Choupette was American rapper-singer Doja Cat.

She went a level up and got some prosthetics done on her face to look like a cat. She wore a shimmery body-hugging gown with a cat ear hood by Oscar de la Renta.

8. American rapper Lil Nas X went nearly naked at the Met Gala.

The 24-year-old rapper came to the event covered in silver body paint and sparkly rhinestones and wore just his silver thong. He was also bejewelled head to toe in crystals.

9. Barbadian singer Rihanna was the last one to walk the red carpet at Met Gala 2023 but she didn’t disappoint anyone.

The pregnant celeb wore a white dress with Karl’s signature white flowers to the Met.
