Sushil Kumar & Paramjeet: 2 Good Samaritans Who Rescued Rishabh Pant After Deadly Car Crash

Yesterday, we all woke up to the shocking news of Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant surviving a deadly car crash while he was returning home from Delhi to Roorkee. But thankfully, the 25-year-old sports personality got medical attention in time and is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries at Max Hospital in Dehradun.

Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher paid a visit to Pant at the hospital and claim that he is now stable.

From sports personalities, film stars, politicians, and Pant’s fans, everyone prayed together for him. And while we wish for his speedy recovery, we have two people to thank – Sushil Kumar and Paramjeet.

They are the two good Samaritans who didn’t take out their mobile phones to shoot the accident but showed compassion to the victim and ran to help him.

Sushil Kumar is a bus driver with Haryana Roadways and Paramjeet is a conductor.

According to India Today, when Pant’s luxury car rammed into the divider, they rushed to get him out of the car minutes before it burst into flames.

What’s more interesting is that since these guys don’t follow cricket, they didn’t know how big a star Pant was. And despite that, they came to help him as they would to any other person.

And since they did a commendable job of saving the Indian cricketer, they were awarded for it.

The internet also lauded these guys for their selfless service.

Let’s try to be like Sushil Kumar and Paramjeet to accident victims on roads rather than capturing their dying visuals for the gram. Kudos to these guys. May your tribe grow!
