These Men Walked The Streets Of Mumbai Dressed In Women’s Clothes. Because They Can.

Recently, men in Turkey walked it’s streets in mini-skirts to protest against the attempted rape and brutal murder of a 20 year-old Turkish woman. Inspired by this protest, some Indian men walked the streets of Mumbai from Prithvi to Juhu beach to convey the message that gender should not be a guideline to deciding what people can and cannot wear.

More than 10 men showed up in skirts, salwar kameez, saris and dupattas – and they stopped traffic for the right reason. Why should your gender decide what you should wear?
