There are innumerable students across the world who attend college during the day and work part-time jobs at night. Not everyone comes from a privileged family and they have to toil through to earn money to pay their fees. They have big dreams to fulfil, just like this woman.

Meet Meerab, a woman in Lahore, Pakistan, who is a fashion designing student and works as a food delivery executive for KFC at night to pay for her monthly expenses. She also has to take care of her mother’s medical expenses and support her family. Her college fee is taken care of by the fast-food chain.

Her story was posted on LinkedIn by a user named Fizza Ijaz who had ordered food from a nearby KFC outlet at night.

When Meerab called her to introduce herself as the delivery executive, Fizza was taken aback.

“Today I ordered KFC in Lahore and received a call from a female saying ‘Hello, I am your rider speaking.’ I got so excited that I stood outside the gate to receive her and we (my friends and I) spoke to her for a good 10 minutes about many things including her pursuits, passion and bike riding skills,” Fizza wrote.

She went on to reveal that Meerab wants to continue working as a delivery agent for the next three years, after which she plans on starting her own fashion brand!

“Meet Meerab from Youhanabad, Lahore. She is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Fashion Designing and does her night duty as a KFC rider to cover her fees. She intends to remain a rider for another 3 years until she graduates post which she plans to launch her own Fashion Brand!”
