Watch Cops & Medics Chase Kerala Man Who Fled Home Quarantine After Fight With Wife

Yes, it is getting harder to stay cooped up at home and it’s definitely making us insane. Everyone around me seems irritated for no reason and the frustration is getting on to our nerves. Probably that’s the reason why divorce queries have reportedly risen amid the coronavirus pandemic.

This Kerala man, who recently returned from Saudi Arabia, also had a verbal spat with his wife, hence he decided to violate the home quarantine norms and ran out of the house.

But the high-voltage drama began when medical professionals in personal protective equipment (PPE) kits and cops ran to nab him, reported The New Indian Express.

After fighting with his wife and family, the 47-year-old man was roaming around in the town of Pathanamthitta in his scooter when the cops saw him without a mask. They stopped him at St Peter’s Junction and questioned him. On investigating, they learnt that the man had landed in Kerala on July 3 from Riyadh and was put under home quarantine.

The cops then contacted his wife who informed them that her husband had fled from their home after getting into an argument with her. He was then pulled by the cops for violating quarantine norms.

In the meanwhile, four health workers wearing PPE kits arrived at the spot and insisted he go to the hospital. However, the man refused to cooperate and declined to go to the hospital. Instead, he managed to escape from their hold and ran in the opposite direction. The medical professionals were left with no choice than to run after him in their PPE gear. Moments later, the man was caught and moved to Kozhanchery Hospital.

The entire incident was recorded on camera.

Cops have started tracing the people he met while strolling in the streets. The area was also later disinfected by local authorities.

Well, it’s really annoying to see people taking the pandemic so lightly and defying norms, thus putting lives at risk.
