McDonalds’ Employee Quits Job With A Note For Customers, Sparks Debate On Work Pressure

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have been left short-staffed and employees are feeling more work pressure than ever before. And while having a stable income is a blessing, but the urge to quit has always been there for several workers due to reasons like working overtime on weekends and office politics.

Recently, a McDonald’s employee left a note on the fast-food chain’s drive-thru that reads: “We are closed because I am quitting and I hate this job.” Check it out:

This led to a discussion on how this note was reflective of the pressures faced by employees, especially workers of the hospitality industry during the pandemic.
