The much-awaited royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally took place and every bit of it was reminiscent of the perfect fairytale. The couple took special care to honour the beloved Princess Diana by incorporating minute details into everything from Meghan’s engagement ring to her wedding bouquet.
And just as we calmed our oohs and aahs over Meghan’s elegant wedding look, the official royal wedding portraits dropped and sent us into a tizzy again.
The adorableness in this photo is through the roof!
And speaking of the couple themselves, Meghan is pretty much what a 21st-century princess would be like. She’s smart, successful and pretty much the embodiment of a beauty with brains. However, despite her impressive resume and philanthropical achievements, many do not consider her a worthy match for the Prince.
Many claimed that Meghan is nothing more than a gold digger and that everything else is just a farce. In fact, the Internet saw countless reactions such as follows:

I don't like Meghan Markle she gives me these chalak vibes, also she's known to be manipulative and nah man I just don't like her
and I think Harry deserves someone much better and fun loving and pureTHIS IS JUST MY OPINION NO NEED TO FIGHT.

Read about Meghan Markle history and life, the girl is an opportunist, Selfish and a Gold digger.

These reactions shine a light on the age-old mentality that any woman who marries a rich or successful man is a gold digger. It is just sad that the same is never said of a man when the roles are reversed.
Designer Masaba Gupta, who has always vocal against societal injustices pointed this out on Twitter.
Through her tweet, she says that the sheer number of people who have accused Meghan of being manipulative is just sad.
The number of people that have said that Meghan Markle must be so manipulative to land Prince harry is sad.i never hear the same about a man when he chooses his woman…

Masaba rightfully points out that no one other than the couple themselves can ever know what the nature of their relationship is like.
She adds that it would be better to give love a chance than assume the worst:
While we don’t know their nature, for a moment if we give love a chance, the focus would be on two wonderful, intelligent, compassionate ppl who chose each other for who they are & how they feel as a unit.not everyone is scheming & everything is not a ‘master-plan’.

Masaba’s tweets are a much-needed reminder for us. In a time when the world has lost faith in itself, a little bit of positivity and trust can go a long way. In fact, rather than spreading negativity about someone, looking at the bright side can do us much good. We need to get back to enjoying the simple beauties that life offers. This world we live in is not as grim as we assume.
