Marvel Fan Builds A Working Version of Spider Man’s Suit, Leaves The Internet In Awe

Spider-Man has come a long way from the late Steve Ditko’s comic-book pages. He has been represented on the small screen, both live-action and animated. Additionally, he has been played by the three of the finest actors in Hollywood, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland. And just like the character, the superhero’s suit has many variations.

Most of Peter Parker’s Spidey suits have been grounded and made out of spandex. However, as Holland’s version is backed by Tony Stark, it’s not only made out of a form of metal, but also has legs (just like a spider!). However, as real as it looks in ‘Infinity War‘, the suit’s purely CGI. So, all the fans were in a fix on how to cosplay as the Iron Spider, except one.

With the San Diego Comic Con right around the corner a cosplaying group decided to take on the ‘Infinity War’ Spider-Man suit and the creative process was astonishing to watch.

1. The first part was to print them individually.

2. Then, the solo parts had to fit together to make one suit.

3. And voila!

These Hong Kong based cosplayers had made a version of the Iron Spider suit before ‘Infinity War’ released. However, they decided to create another probably in order to add more details they had witnessed from the movie and make it more wearable.

The Iron Spider suit is undoubtedly the coolest looking suit Marvel has produced and the cosplayer had nailed that part. So, now it was time to add its biggest highlight, the spider legs.

1. Wow, look at those legs move!

2. Perfection!

In case you’re wondering how long it took for these geniuses to complete the entire costume, they did it in 10 days. That’s truly phenomenal.

Netizens went gaga after seeing this real-life Iron Spider suit and lauded the cosplayers for their work.

1. He’s the real Amazing Spider-Man.

2. Reminds me of what Obadiah said about Tony Stark.

3. Can’t agree more.

4. Recognition from Marvel itself! That’s huge.

5. Ned Leeds, is that you?

Cosplaying is truly an art-form that should be recognised by the creators. And I’m not saying that they should do so just because these people are fans. It’s because they’re combining their love for the characters and their expertise in their craft to make something fantastic. So, if creators can reach out to them and give them a platform to showcase their work, that’ll be the highest form of appreciation they can get as fans.
