Robert DeNiro.

Al Pacino.

Joe Pesci.

Harvey Keitel.

And to direct them all, Martin Scorcese. Man, it is going to be one to be remembered!

Sparks literally flew everytime Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino shared the screen. The same goes for every time Scorcese directed Joe Pesci.

In short, Scorcese is bringing Hollywood blockbusters like Godfather, Goodfellas, and Casino in one single movie with all the legends who acted in it!

It is the first time the four legendary actors will be in the same movie together. Netflix has reportedly invested a whopping $105 million in making the dream come true. And it is a huge amount of money even for the streaming giant.

Major production studio Paramount thought that this project is ‘too risky’ and rejected it. Can you believe it? They rejected a Martin Scorcese movie starring DeNiro and Pacino.

“Scorsese’s movie is a risky deal, and Paramount is not in the position to take risks. This way, he can make the project he wants.”

The movie is an adaptation of the novel I Heard You Paint Houses which tells a story about Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran, a mob hitman. Which means that the story premise is right up Scorcese’s alley.

After giving us decades of entertainment with gangster classics, this might just be the risky ace Scorcese was saving in his sleeve.

Let’s pray that The Irishman really lives up to the hype!
