Mark Ruffalo Fails Lie-Detector Test While Talking About ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Spoilers

Mark Ruffalo is the worst offender when it comes to spoiling Marvel movies. He has famously live-streamed the opening few minutes of ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘. He has spoiled the ending of ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘. And he has (kind of) announced the title of ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ even before the trailer could reveal it.

So, it’s pretty risky to ask him anything about your favourite Marvel movie. Or, if you aren’t a stickler for spoilers, he is the best person to go to because he’ll give away every and any detail very easily.

As the highly anticipated MCU movie ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is right around the corner, Jimmy Fallon decided to hook Mark Ruffalo up with a lie-detector and extract some info from him.

A few days ago, Stephen Colbert had tried to do the same thing with Kit Harington and the results weren’t very concrete. But Fallon went for a more fool-proof method.

The deal here was that if Ruffalo was telling the truth, the red bulb wouldn’t blink. However, if he was lying, then it would start blinking vigorously.

Jimmy Fallon began questioning Mark Ruffalo with some routine stuff. But then he went into very deep spoiler territory. So, if you don’t want to know anything about ‘Avengers: Endgame’, walk away!

Then there were some non-Endgame questions.

However, Jimmy wasn’t ready to go that easy on Mark, and he dropped the mother of all ‘Endgame’ related questions. He asked,

“Everyone who disappeared in the snap from Thanos is actually gone? Or is there anyway that they can come back?”

And this was Mark Ruffalo’s reaction to it:

Now, giving away so many spoilers is dangerous. But Ruffalo was happy to confirm that despite all that he hasn’t been fired.

This interview might be a marketing tactic to make people go to the theatres and check out if Ruffalo was indeed saying the truth or not. If he was lying, then good for him. But if he wasn’t, then after the credits roll for ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (and I’m done wiping away my tears), he and I are going to have a chat. And we’ll keep the big, green guy out of it.
