Out of the several things that this year has taught us, being empathetic and helping those in need would top the list. You see, humanity is the one thing that is getting us through this pandemic and it doesn’t need to be much – even a small act of kindness is enough to make someone’s day better.
For example, a Manipuri cop named Ekta Singh, who is the station in-charge, recently came across an old woman who was walking without shoes in this cold weather. Singh went on to buy a pair of shoes for the woman with her own money and helped her wear them.
Pictures of the incident were posted on Twitter by the official Twitter handle of Manipuri Police.
