Ever since Indian beauty, Punjab’s Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned with the coveted title of ‘Miss Universe 2021’  in Israel, our hopes to bring home the crown for ‘Miss World 2021’ are on an all-time high.

But sadly, we all will have to wait for the next 90 days to know the final result of the pageant as the competition has been temporarily postponed owing to the fact that Manasa, along with 16 others, has tested positive for covid-19 and are currently in isolation in Puerto Rico, reported India Today. The finale was scheduled to take place on December 16 in Puerto Rico.

The 23-year-old beauty queen, for now, will have to return to India to go back stronger after her recovery.

Talking about her focus to win the title and her next projects, she said, “I am an explorer and I have always looked for new opportunities to try something new. If there is something interesting that comes along the way, I am sure I would be interested to take it up, but right now, my focus is entirely on the next leg of my journey, which is the Miss World competition. It`s a huge responsibility as I would be representing the country on an international platform.”

No matter what the end result is, we’re already proud of you. Take care and come back healthier and stronger.
