It’s A Snowy January For Manali. These Pictures Shall Leave You Spellbound!

Tourists rejoice as fresh snowfall in Manali kickstarts 2019 on a frosty note. After a snowy Yuletide, it has been white-out for Lahaul in Spiti Valley, Kinnaur, Kullu Manali and even Chamba in Himachal over the past week. The meteorological department has confirmed that these regions could get even cooler.

While Dalhousie of Chamba district saw 2cm snow, other areas such as Gondola have seen 10 centimeters snowfall. Yet even the falling temperatures that are at -1.1 degrees Celsius for Dalhousie and -0.8 degrees Celsius in Kufri have not failed to deter tourists. Social media is rife with images fresh in from Manali shared by scores of happy travelers.
