The weather in Bangalore is so amazing yaar!
How many of you are just tired of people raving about Bangalore’s weather? Yes, we know that the weather out there is great, sometimes it’s even colder than Shimla during summers, you need a blanket throughout the year, etc. etc. We get it. Ab aage badiye.
Echoing the same sentiment is a man named Anuj Gurwara, who is an anchor, singer, and actor, whose rant about Bangalore weather has gone viral. He says that people are so obsessed with this particular aspect of the city that they fail to see the horrible traffic conditions!
“Bangalore bohot accha sheher. Mereko bohot pasand hai. Lekin ek baat bolo mereko. Yeh Bangalore waalon ko ‘hu’ bolo toh ‘weather accha hai’, ‘goodmorning’ bolo toh ‘weather accha hai’, agar tumhara parcel aaye toh bole ‘weather kitna accha hai’. Arrey, maan rahe hai, weather best hai tumlog ka! UNESCO bhi award de diya world ka best weather bole toh Bangalore,” he said.
He goes on to compare Bangalore traffic with that of Hyderabad and praises the latter’s road planning. But despite all Bangalore’s ills, when you ask a Bangalorean they’ll say “weather kitna accha hai”!
“Ab kya karna hai weather ka? Arrey, traffic mein teen teen ghante ek hi jagah atakke baithe rehte ho toh kya dikta? Weather hi dikta, nahi? Hum log to Hyderabad mein itna time nahi hai. Sadak itne bade bade hai, gaadi zoop zoop karke nikal jaati hai. Ek hi jagah jaane ke liye chaar chaar raste rehte. Tum log one-way ke jalebi mein atakke rehte ho…lekin agar jaake puche toh ‘weather kitna accha hai’!”

To be honest, with the rate at which temperatures are soaring across the country, we don’t mind the terrible traffic jams in Bangalore as long as we have amazing weather!
