A 39-year-old man from Florida was booked for wasting a pizza slice. No, that’s not what really happened but isn’t wasting pizza a crime?
Well, in a bizarre reported incident, a man, identified as Ortelio Lazaro Alfonso staying in Florida, United States, was arrested after he allegedly slapped a woman in the face with a slice of pizza during a heated argument.
According to a report by NY Post, the cops responded to a call by the accused man on 911 about a possible ‘domestic disturbance’. Alfonso told them he had an argument with the female victim.
Sharing her side of the story, the woman said that Alfonso became upset because she hit another individual in the home in his bottom area. They ended up in a heated argument during which he slapped her on the left side of her face with a slice of pizza.
The cops confirmed that the victim had pizza sauce splashed all over her shirt. She also had remnants of pizza in her hair and near her ear. Police also found sauce on the walls and ceiling of the kitchen when they reached the location.
“The defendant advised he did not physically strike the victim with his hands, just with the pizza,” the cops wrote in the affidavit. After being booked, the man was later released by the cops.
