Student Seeks Groom’s Permission To Eat At His Wedding, ‘Sabke Liye Le Jao’ He Responds

Getting homemade food is the most precious feeling in the world when you’re living far away from home. While we could have burgers and pizzas every day without anyone scolding us, our pocket money often restricts us, forcing us to eat food at the hostel mess.

Hence, whenever hoteliers get an opportunity to relish unlimited yummy food that too free of cost, they seldom lose it. And gatecrashing weddings is the ideal way for some to satiate their cravings for delicious food vo bhi muft, muft, muft!

But not everyone is lucky enough to hog on shadi ka khana and get away without getting caught. Earlier, an MBA student was caught red-handed gatecrashing an event and the organizers made him wash utensils as his punishment.

Foreseeing the risk, this smart boy from Bihar decided to directly talk to the groom and seek his permission to have free food at his wedding.

A video that has now gone viral shows a student, living at a hostel nearby, talking to the groom. He goes on to say in Hindi:

“I have come to your wedding. I don’t know what your name is or where you live. I live in a hostel nearby and didn’t cook today. Since I was hungry, I came to your wedding reception to eat. I thought of informing you.”

Congratulating the groom on his wedding, the student asked him, “Do you have a problem with it?” Responding to this, the groom says he doesn’t have a problem with it. He further told him to pack some food and take it for his hostel mates.

Obviously, the student named Alok Yadav was on cloud nine upon hearing this. Just look at the happiness on his face.

The conversation between the groom and the student is indeed heartwarming. Take a look at how people reacted to the video.

Having said that, many people highlighted that the wedding reception would have been organized by the family of the bride who might probably be struggling to pay for the event. Also, if the food gets over before every single guest is fed, they wouldn’t hear the end of it.

It would have been appropriate for the student to either not gatecrash the wedding or pay something for it. What do you think of this incident?
