Recently, an individual took the whole Christmas spirit too far. A white-bearded man who resembled Santa Claus allegedly robbed the Academy Bank in Colorado Springs after threatening workers with an unidentified weapon, reports Daily Mail.

David Wayne Oliver, 65, who left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, instantly threw the stolen cash into the air while shouting, ‘Merry Christmas’ to passersby. “He robbed the bank, came out, threw the money all over the place,” witness Dion Pascale was quoted saying by the Independent.
Police said the older white male had threatened the use of a weapon while robbing the bank. They later took him into custody from a nearby Starbucks. Passers-by who had reportedly scooped the money attempted to return it to the bank. However, according to an official thousands of dollars are still missing.
