Man Makes A ‘Water Wheelchair’ For His Pet Goldfish & Its Too Adorable For Words!

People can often be hurtful towards other people. But it takes an absolute stone-heart to be hurtful towards animals. We see people going the extra mile for animals– be it wild or domestic. And even more so for their own pets.Ask a pet owner whose pet has a disability and you’ll see what they’ve done to make their companion’s life easier..

This Korean man is no different from the rest went it comes to going over the top for his pet goldfish. It’s easy to provide prosthetic aid to the pets on ground – like dogs and cats. But this cute little goldfish got a cute little ‘water wheelchair‘ for its unfortunate swimming disability.

The fish suffers from a Swim Bladder Disorder and this “wheelchair” helps the goldfish stay afloat. The mind behind this genius apparatus is of an animal lover and a professional designer, Henry Kim who created the device after some of his goldfish died from the same disorder. Henry used Google’s help to come up with this moulded plastic invention.

The disease is known to make the affected fishes float upside down or sink. “I often find it in fish from Thailand or China,” Henry Kim reportedly said. “Fish with this issue only live a couple of months, but thanks to this device, one of my fish has lived to be five months old.”

Not only is the device a life-saving accessory for the little fishy, but it also looks adorable. So I think its a win-win situation!
