The pandemic pushed several people to live with their families, friends, and flatmates 24×7. This meant that one would have to face other people’s annoying traits most times without having an escape route. According to a study by King’s College London, many suffered from anger issues and had massive arguments with the ones they were living in during the Covid-19 crisis in the United Kingdom.
Hence, one man in Sussex handed himself to the police after he was sick and tired of the people he was living with and wanted to have some peace of mind, reports BBC.
Inspector Darren Taylor took to Twitter to briefly narrate the tale. According to him, the man said he would “rather go back to prison than spend more time with the people he was living with.”
Have a look at his tweet here:

People online really felt for the man. While some said that “jail is better than lockdown”, others wondered about the kids living with abusive parents and how they don’t have the option to run away.
Some people have a difficult sad life don’t they

He’s lucky to have the option, unlike the children locked in their homes with abusive parents, with no where to go, they can’t even escape for a few hours at school.

I mean… I can understand that. Fortunately, my family is amazing but had this all happened a decade or so ago… I'd have chewed off my own arm to get away tbh https://t.co/aW9aHXrfgv
