Online dating is a mixed bag – you never know what kind of person you’ll end up hanging out with. The date might turn out nice but ghost you afterwards. They might be surprisingly candid and mature while declining a second date. Or you might get invited to a funeral! But for a woman named Kimberley Latham-Hawkesford, things just got worse after her disastrous first date.Â
Kimberley, a 24-year-old resident of England met a man through a dating app. He goes by ‘Luke James’ on Snapchat. After their first date, they didn’t speak to each other again. Three months later, he sent her this list of 15 ‘tips’ that would ‘improve’ her personality and appearance.

She shared the list on Facebook which quickly went viral. People couldn’t believe that he’d asked her to get a fake tan, lip fillers and not act like a prude among other things. The most outrageous part though was his sign off which read,
“If you take these on board I might consider another date. I will give you a month and get back in touch to see if this made a difference. Good day to you Kimberly.”
According to Mail Online, even during the date, the man asked her if she would be open to plastic surgery and gave her names of stores where she could purchase clothes from. After their meal, when she offered to pay the bill, he took out his phone to show her his bank balance.
Kimberley says she has only one thing to say to this man, “My only tip for him is to respect women as his behaviour is disgusting.” Hope he gets the message soon.
