Humanity in the world is heading towards an end. And, a case of animal abuse that has come to light from Ayodhya is a proof! Rajkumar, the accused was caught red-handed on CCTV as he raped seven cows at a cattle shelter in the city.
Owing to the increasing number of cases of abuse against animals, the shelter authorities and volunteers at Kartaliya Baba Ashram were keenly keeping an eye to keep a check on such issues.
The accused was beaten up and handed over to the police after he was caught red-handed in the heinous act by the authorities.
“I was drunk, I don’t know what I did, I only remember that I was beaten by both, people who caught me and the police,” Rajkumar told India Today.
Ayodhya SSP Jogendra Kumar confirmed that Rajkumar has been put behind the bars. He has been booked under sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code for cruelty against animals, said Kumar.
This isn’t the first time that such a case of sexual abuse against animals has been reported in the country. Last year, a group of 8 men was held as a pregnant goat died after they raped her repeatedly.
We hope the law serves justice soon and such inhumane criminals are given the deserving punishment.
