Major Vibhuti’s Wife Nikita Kaul Saying ‘I Love You’ For One Last Time Will Leave You Teary-Eyed

Following the dreadful terror attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama district that martyred 44 CRPF personnel on February 14th, Southern Kashmir witnessed another fierce encounter on Monday. Though the Indian Army managed to kill three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants, including the ‘operations chief’, who led the attack on the convoy last week, the country had to sacrifice 5 of its valiant warriors in the process.

Out of them, one was Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal, who gave up his life for the nation at 34 years of age.

His body was brought to his Dehradun residence on Monday as his tearful wife Nikita paid tribute to the warrior. According to Indian Express, Nikita, who works for an MNC in Delhi said,

“We all love you. You sacrificed your life for the people (of the nation)… You are such a brave man. I’m very honoured to have you as my husband. Till my last breath I’ll always love you, Vibhu.”

“You lied to me that you loved me. In fact, you loved the nation way more. I’m quite jealous and I can’t help it.”

During his funeral that was held on Tuesday, the strong woman could not hold back her tears. In an extremely heartbreaking scene, she looked intensely towards her husband’s coffin wrapped in the tri-colour and blew him kisses.

She also shouted ‘Vande Mataram’ 3 times before saying ‘I Love You’ as a final goodbye.

Major Vibhuti got married to the 27-year-old Nikita Kaul in April 2018 and he was planning to come back this year for his first anniversary. Unfortunately, he came back much early but not in a way his wife had expected.

May God give the brave lady all the strength in this world to cope up with the situation. May Major Vibhuti’s soul rest in peace.
